DUPLO APPOINTS TONY LOCK AS DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL MARKETING

Duplo International has appointed Tony Lock to the new position of Director of International Marketing to spearhead an ambitious growth plan for the company. Tony will be responsible for strategic marketing in all Duplo International territories, including its UK, Polish, Italian and French subsidiaries as well as all Duplo International’s distributor countries across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).

Reporting directly into Robin Greenhalgh, CEO of Duplo International, one of Tony’s key responsibilities will be the liaison with Duplo Corporation’s research & development teams at its headquarters in Japan to ensure the timely and centralised launch of new products across EMEA.  Tony will also be responsible for the complete marketing of Duplo’s new and existing product portfolio for both the traditional offset and digital print market as well as its comprehensive office product offering with a view to increasing sales and revenues.  As part of his role, Tony will explore new applications, enter new market sectors and provide Duplo customers with more opportunities to improve and grow their print businesses.

With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the printing industry, Tony spent the last eight years in a European-wide marketing role at OKI Printing Solutions, where he led a period of huge growth in their colour print business. Prior to that, Tony worked for Xerox and Toshiba where he held a number of positions from engineering, technical specialist, dealer manager and new business sales roles.

Tony joined Duplo International December 1st 2008 and is based at Duplo International’s headquarters in Esher, UK. Tony is a consultant in direct and interactive marketing having qualified with the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) in London, UK.
