- Friedheim are the UK distributors for Schneider Senator Guillotines and have been for 27 years, and from February 2010 Duplo UK will become the sole UK (end user) Sales Agent for the products via Friedheim for the 78 and 92 models

- Friedheim will continue to service the machines and supply parts

- This comes after the strategic partnership announcement last summer between Duplo and Friedheim of The Finishing Alliance, aimed at being the supplier of the widest range of finishing equipment available from a single source

- This is a significant move from both parts and mutually beneficial, as Duplo have an opportunity to extend their product offering to their customers and give them exactly what they need, and Friedheim remain in control of the product and the brand and still have access to all sales sites.

- Duplo have been selling IDEAL guillotines since 2006 and the Schneider Senator range is very complimentary as the IDEAL range stops at 720mm width and the Schneider's that Duplo can sell begin at 780mm. Duplo will continue to sell the IDEAL range.

- Duplo has announced in 2009 more 'heavy duty' finishing equipment, including the Alpha Saddle Stitcher, DuBinder PUR binder and DSF-5000 sheet feeder, so the Schneider's compliment Duplo's product range growth very well.

- We already have a tender for a local council for Duplo's first Schneider 78 sale, and an opportunity for 2 x Schneider 92's 

- This is part of an aggressive new strategy for Duplo UK where we aim to add many 3rd party sole distributorships in 2010 to this announcement

- We have increased the IDEAL guillotine sales by 20% in 4 years, we have a good model for selling guillotines in the UK.

- The contract starts February 2010. 

- Duplo and Friedheim have arguably the best products and the best service support in the finishing industry, together we are more powerful.
